April is National and State End Distracted Drive Month

by: Prince, Glover & Hayes Thursday, April 3rd, 2014

April is National and State End Distracted Drive Month. The Alabama Association for Justice (AAJ) and its members will be speaking to our teens throughout the state about this important issues. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates that during daylight hours, about 660,000 drivers are holding a phone at any moment.

Each day The Alabama Association for Justice will be posting videos, public service announcements and other news relating to this subject. It is imperative that we set a positive example of good driving habits for our children’s safety and wellbeing. A special thanks to Senator Tom Whatley, Senator Quinton Ross and Representative Christopher John England for their help in getting resolutions passed to acknowledge this very important issue.
