Coe Baxter Settles Case for Policy Limits

by: Prince, Glover & Hayes Friday, February 10th, 2012

Attorney Coe Baxter has settled a case for policy limits. Our client was rear ended by a driver who ran a red light. The driver who hit her did not have a driver’s license or insurance. Fortunately, our client was covered by uninsured motorist coverage (UM). She had extensive injuries, including a bulging disc and other back injuries that required surgery. Our client still has difficulties performing daily tasks and chores as a result of her injuries.
UM insurance coverage is not required in Alabama, but it is wise to have it. Our client was covered under two UM policies, one issued to her and one to her husband. Without this coverage, she would have been stuck paying for her own medical bills since the other driver was uninsured. Mr. Baxter worked hard on the case and was able to get the full policy limits under both UM policies, covering all of our client’s bills and expenses related to the wreck. Prince, Glover & Hayes accepts injury cases from all over the state of Alabama.
