Coe Baxter Settles Under UIM Policy in Non-Contact Wreck Case

by: Prince, Glover & Hayes Thursday, August 2nd, 2012

Attorney Coe Baxter has settled a car wreck case in Tuscaloosa County. Our client was traveling in the right hand lane of US Highway 82, when a vehicle came over into her lane, causing her to swerve to avoid contact. The other driver never stopped so Attorney Baxter only had our client’s underinsured/uninsured motorist (UIM) policy from which to make a claim. Our client suffered a rotator cuff tear, concussion, neck strain, back strain, and multiple contusions and abrasions. Her injuries required surgery and painful physical therapy.

Underinsured/Uninsured Motorist (UIM) insurance coverage is not required in Alabama, but it is extremely important to have this coverage. Without our client’s UIM coverage, she would have been stuck paying for her own medical bills since the other driver never stopped. Mr. Baxter worked hard on the case and was able to get a favorable settlement covering all of our client’s bills and expenses related to the wreck.

Prince, Glover & Hayes accepts injury cases from all over the state of Alabama. Call us today for a free consultation.
