Investigator Ken Swindle Nominated as President of the Tuscaloosa Salvation Army’s Advisory Board

Prince, Glover and Hayes is honored to announce that chief investigator Ken Swindle has been nominated to serve as the President of Tuscaloosa’s Salvation Army advisory board for the upcoming year.

The Advisory Board members are influential community leaders who voluntarily use their professional skills and knowledge of the community to assist The Salvation Army interpret community needs and facilitate development of resources to make a practical difference for their neighbors, strengthening The Salvation Army’s ability to serve.

With the Advisory Board’s commitment to excellence they dedicate themselves to increasing public awareness of The Salvation Army’s purpose and work, recruit volunteers and giving hands on assistance. They provide advise and guidance to The Salvation Army Officer in areas such as budgeting, capital campaigns, public relations, fundraising, building improvements and maintenance. Their commitment to serving others unites them with like-minded professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds which makes Advisory Board members a vital partner in The Salvation Army ministry.

The Tuscaloosa chapter of the Salvation Army was established in 1910. Each year more then 13,000 individuals will receive assistance from our local chapter. There are as many as fifty people staying at the shelter each night. This year more then 35,000 meals will be served to people in need and 2,500 children and 1,000 seniors will be served at Christmas.
