Matt Glover Negotiates Six Million Dollar Settlement in Michigan Personal Injury Case

by: Prince, Glover & Hayes Monday, March 5th, 2012

Partner Matt Glover has achieved a six million dollar settlement involving a horrible incident which left our client with a partially amputated right leg and open fractures on the left leg. Our client, a tractor trailer driver from Alabama, was at a steel mill in Michigan to pick up a load of steel coils. While they were being loaded onto his trailer with a crane, the bands on one of the coils broke, sending the ten tons of steel crashing down onto our client. Understandably, this accident changed our client’s life forever.

Mr. Glover, working with local counsel in Michigan, spent a lot of time on this case. The firm hired a rehabilitation and life planning expert, an economic expert, and a safety consultant in order to establish how much the case was worth. He also spent multiple days taking depositions of witnesses and employees of the mill where the accident occurred. The six million dollar settlement was reached at mediation before the case went to trial. Prince, Glover & Hayes accepts personal injury, accident, and wrongful death cases from everywhere in the state of Alabama.
