Sandra Hudson, a legal assistant at Prince, Glover & Hayes, is raising money for the annual March of Dimes Walk in Tuscaloosa which will be held on April 9th. She is raising money to support team “In Loving Memory of Brayden”.

Here is Brayden’s strory:

On February 8, 2008 Brayden Giambalvo was born at just 32 weeks. He was very small for his gestational age and couldn’t breathe on his own. After 24 days in the NICU, Brayden developed an illness that required surgery. Although he fought very hard, he passed away after surgery. After Brayden’s passing his parents, Josh and Ashley Giambalvo, created a March of Dimes family team to walk in his memory. In their three year history with the March of Dimes the Giambalvo’s have raised more than $16,000! A year and a half ago Josh and Ashley welcomed a new team member, Greyson Giambalvo, who was born at 38 weeks and healthy. The Giambalvo’s do a great job of recruiting support, motivating, and communicating with their team members. They are both a great resource for all family teams in search of tips and pointers.

The March of Dimes strives to develop and implement local programs that will ultimately improve the health of babies. Through their network of chapters and volunteers, these programs reach over a million people across the country and Puerto Rico each year. They provide information and services designed to prevent premature birth and birth defects and to promote healthy pregnancies.
