Prince, Glover & Hayes Reaches Settlement for Injured Tuscaloosa Police Officer

by: Prince, Glover & Hayes Tuesday, September 13th, 2011

Senior partner Robert Prince has reached a significant settlement for a Tuscaloosa police officer injured on duty. The officer was working a car wreck scene when a careless driver, rubbernecking to see the wreck, struck the officer. The driver was going approximately 40 miles per hour when he hit the officer. The driver also ran into the car that was involved in the previous wreck before finally coming to a stop. The officer was thrown into the air and landed on the hood of the adverse driver’s car, breaking the windshield and denting the hood. The officer suffered injuries so severe that he had no choice but to resign from his job. With the help of paralegal Morgan Black and investigator Ken Swindle Mr. Prince successfully negotiated with the insurance company to reach a significant settlement in this tragic case. The firm handles all forms of personal injury cases. We offer free consultations and take cases from everywhere in the state of Alabama.

George E. Bourguignon, Jr. Said:

It is terrible to see carelessness cause such damage, but there is some solace in knowing that the officer’s legal rights were enforced. Helpful post.
