Prince, Glover & Hayes Settles Car Wreck Case in Marshall County

by: Prince, Glover & Hayes Wednesday, January 8th, 2014

Attorney Joshua P. Hayes reached a favorable settlement for a former police chief in a two vehicle wreck case. The client’s vehicle was stopped while waiting to turn when the at-fault driver rear-ended him. The at-fault driver was arrested at the scene and charged with DUI. The client suffered injuries requiring surgery and extensive therapy.  Mr. Hayes successfully negotiated a policy limits settlement with the adverse driver’s insurance company. A policy limits settlement was also reached with the client’s Underinsured Motorist Insurance Company (UIM) and the client’s employer’s Underinsured Motorist Insurance Company (UIM).

This case is a good reminder of why UIM coverage is so important.  Please, pull out your policy today and make sure you have this coverage, and plenty of it.
