Prince Glover & Hayes Settles Case on the Fifth Day of Trial in Covington County

by: Prince, Glover & Hayes Tuesday, June 29th, 2010

Bob Prince and Matt Glover of the Prince, Glover and Hayes law firm recently reached a confidential settlement after the fifth day of trial in Covington County, Alabama. The case involved the tragic death of a long-time resident of Opp, Alabama. Our client died as a result of a collision with an 18-wheeler. The case focused on the 18-wheeler company’s failure to preserve critical information involving how the wreck occurred. The failure by the company to preserve information permitted the jury to infer guilt on the part of the company and its driver. Unfortunately, the failure to preserve evidence is becoming the norm for many companies. For this reason, injured parties should consider hiring a firm to quickly investigate all aspects of a collision as soon as possible. The Prince, Glover and Hayes law firm was assisted by the Andalusia law firm of Jones & Jones. Our firm handles cases of this nature all around the state of Alabama.
