Prince, Glover & Hayes Settles Dale County Auto Collision Case

Prince, Glover & Hayes Partner Matt Glover has settled a collision case in Dale County, Alabama. Our client was approaching an intersection when the defendant pulled out in front of her. She swerved to avoid the defendant, but could not avoid the collision. Our client suffered neck, back, and abdomen injuries. Mr. Glover was able to obtain a settlement for full policy limits from the defendant’s insurance company, but that amount was not enough to cover our client’s medical bills and expenses associated with the accident. Fortunately, our client had under-insured motorist coverage (UIM) through her insurance company. Mr. Glover also reached a favorable settlement with them and was able to get all of our client’s medical bills paid, in addition to money for pain and suffering.

The minimum amount of insurance required by law in Alabama is a very low amount, and many drivers only carry the minimum required. However, car accidents with injuries frequently cost significantly more than insurance policy limits allow. Therefore, it is imperative to have UIM coverage. Without it, if you are hit by an uninsured or under-insured motorist you will be responsible for all your medical bills and expenses. Prince, Glover & Hayes handles car collision cases in every county in Alabama.
