Prince, Glover & Hayes Settles DUI Accident Case

by: Prince, Glover & Hayes Monday, August 8th, 2011

Partner Matt Glover settled a hit-and-run DUI case in Hale County earlier this week. The defendant was driving under the influence of drugs when he fell asleep at the wheel and crossed over into our client’s lane, colliding with her vehicle. Our client suffered permanent nerve damage in her back as a result. Before the accident, our client was very active and enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and working with her husband in the trucking business. After the accident, she was sadly forced to discontinue all these activities as a result of the pain. Our client had to endure frequent painful injections and surgeries on her back. Thankfully, Mr. Glover recovered a significant amount from the defendant’s insurance company to compensate our client for her medical bills and lost quality of life.

If you have been hit by a driver under the influence of drugs or alcohol, call Prince, Glover & Hayes. Our investigator, former Chief of Police Ken Swindle, will work with Mr. Glover and our other attorneys to ensure the case is fully investigated and examined in order to make the drunk or drugged driver pay.
