Prince Glover Law Attorneys Attend Federal Courthouse Groundbreaking

by: Prince, Glover & Hayes Friday, December 18th, 2009

Prince Glover Law’s Bob Prince and Josh Hayes today attended the long-awaited groundbreaking of Tuscaloosa’s new federal courthouse. Despite poor weather, over 200 local attorneys, judges and dignitaries attended this historic event.

The brainchild of Senator Richard Shelby and U.S. District Judge L. Scott Coogler, the new federal building is set to be the anchor for Tuscaloosa’s new downtown revitalization project. In addition to courtrooms for the U.S. District Court, the federal building will house the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and several other federal offices. It will be located on University Boulevard, just down from City Hall.

Prince Glover applauds everyone who made this historic event possible. The people of West Alabama will be well-served by this new federal building, which is set to open sometime in 2011.
