Prince Glover Law Settles Cullman County Case on First Day of Trial

by: Prince, Glover & Hayes Tuesday, April 7th, 2009

Bob Prince and Matt Glover are pleased to announce that a confidential settlement has been reached on behalf of two Cullman County poultry farmers in their lawsuit against and out-of-state insurance company.  The farmers were victims to an insurance scheme that accepted money from farmers for insurance premiums but failed to pay legitimate insurance claims. Several farmers throughout North Alabama sustained wind damage to their poultry houses and were denied insurance claims even though they had windstorm protection.  The insurance company would routinely use fabricated reports in an effort to justify their refusal to pay,

Prince Glover Law currently represents several other farmers throughout Alabama who have been victimized by similar plans. The firm has also received other confidential settlements regarding this conduct.

Prince Glover Law worked closely with the Tuscaloosa firm of Junkin, Harrison, Pearson and Junkin on this case. Likewise the Cullman County law firm of Knight, Griffith, McKenzie, Knight and McElroy assisted in this case.

Prince Glover Law believes that cases of this nature hold insurance companies responsible for their conduct and also protects farmers from being mistreated by their insurance companies in the future.
