Senior Partner Bob Prince Negotiates Fayette County Environmental Suits to Successful Conclusion

by: Prince, Glover & Hayes Friday, August 25th, 2017

Bob Prince recently engineered settlements for 264 Arvin Industries employees who were exposed to high levels of the dangerous chemicals formaldehyde and hexavalent chromium.  The employees, unaware of the dangerous nature of the chemicals, endured years of exposure. This overexposure resulted in the employees experiencing bodily injury and mental suffering. The settlement was with the remaining four defendants in the high-profile cases that were set for trial in Fayette County for Aug. 28th. The settlements avoided an upcoming three week trial involving numerous witnesses and thousands of documents. The defendants, two stainless steel producers and two companies that made and sold welding consumables to Arvin, insisted that the settlement amounts be confidential.
